ESC Receives Grant from The Anglican Foundation of Canada

The College of Emmanuel & St. Chad Receives Grant from the Anglican Foundation of Canada

The College of Emmanuel & St. Chad (ESC) is pleased to announce that it has received a $5,000 grant from the Anglican Foundation of Canada in support of its Certificate in Theology and Society.

This funding will enable ESC to produce high-quality video conversations and teaching resources featuring course instructors and College leadership. These recordings will help introduce prospective students, supporters, and members of the wider church to the substance, purpose, and pastoral vision of the Certificate program, while also strengthening ESC’s ability to share its work more clearly and widely.

The Certificate in Theology and Society is a new initiative designed to equip students to engage thoughtfully and faithfully with pressing issues facing church and society, including healthcare ethics, addictions ministry, and Indigenous–church relations.

“We are deeply grateful to the Anglican Foundation of Canada for their generosity and encouragement,” said Dr. Adam Z. Wright, Acting Principal of Emmanuel & St. Chad. “This grant allows us to tell the story of our work more effectively and to invite others into a shared conversation about faith, learning, and the needs of our world.”

ESC thanks the Anglican Foundation of Canada for its ongoing commitment to innovative theological education and to the life and mission of the Church.
