Andrew Yang, MD

Dr. Andrew Yang completed medical training at the University of Alberta and underwent core internal medicine training with the University of Saskatchewanat the Regina site. Afterwards, he completed his general internal medicine fellowship in Saskatoon, with extra training in the treatment of substance use disorders in Vancouver and Edmonton. He currently works providing walk-in assessment and treatment of patients with substance use disorders with the Rapid Access Addiction Medicine (RAAM) Clinic based out of St. Paul’s Hospital in Saskatoon.

Erika Mills

Erika Mills is a Registered Psychotherapist, CASC/ACSS Certified Supervisor-Educator, Spiritual Health Practitioner, and founder of InLight Soul Care. Her work focuses on burnout, professional identity, moral injury, spiritual care, ethics, grief, and the effects of carrying responsibility within complex systems. Noah MacDonald

Noah MacDonald is an Anishinaabe PhD student and canon lawyer belonging to Michipicoten First Nation. Upon completing his Juris Canonici Licentiatus at Saint Paul University in 2020, he became the first Indigenous canon lawyer in Canada and continues to serve the Archdiocese of Toronto as an ecclesiastical judge. Since 2023, he has been pursuing a PhD in Theological Studies at Regis College (University of Toronto). His doctoral research aims to explore
Anishinaabe Catholic expressions of faith and self-determination. He has recently published in the Journal of Ecumenical Studies on the topic of Jesuit-Anishinaabe relationality and in The Conversation on issues of reconciliation within Catholic school boards. He remains dedicated to advocating for the rights and agency of Indigenous Catholics through his work with the Our Lady of Guadeloupe Circle and the Anishinaabeg Spiritual Centre.

Erenna Morrison

Erenna Morrison is a Curriculum and Pedagogy doctoral candidate at the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education- University of Toronto. Her developing research focuses on reconciliatory education, specifically concerning the elementary religion curriculum in Catholic schools. Erenna earned her undergraduate degree in Early Childhood Education from Toronto Metropolitan University before completing her Master of Teaching degree at OISE. Over the past six years, she has worked as a graduate assistant on a research project which further explores the Grade 11 English course, "Understanding Contemporary First Nations, Métis, and Inuit Voices" and is a member of the Indigenous Literatures Lab.

Rev. Dr. Laura Marie Piotrowicz

This course is designed to help the student discern and to better understand the ministries (lay or ordained) to which God is calling them. The areas of focus will include understanding discernment processes; spiritual gifts (and how to use them); spiritual formation (how do I grow as a Christian?); ministry and praxis (what do I do?); and theological reflection (become a theologian!). Consideration is given to the student's unique context and experience and how one can effectively work and move within those contexts.

Ryan K. Turnbull, PhD

Having grown up on a cattle ranch near Binscarth, Manitoba, Ryan Turnbull has a deep interest in the intersection of theology, decolonization, ecology, place, and friendship. You can find him either talking about these things in a cafe or riding around town on his bike with his wife Rachel.

Ryan holds several degrees in theology including a PhD from the University of Birmingham.

Ryan is currently a Visiting Fellow at St John’s College and serves as the Diocesan Discipleship Developer in the Diocese of Rupert’s Land. He’s also an Associate Supervisor for doctoral students at Westcott House, Cambridge.
